ProfesorCBD is a Madrid-based online retailer and brand of cannabidiol (CBD) products, selling own-brand flowers, oils, resins, vapes, cosmetics and pet products to consumers across Europe. It sells through its e-commerce store, more than 200 B2B points of sale and partnerships with pharmacies, and has a catalogue of around 70 own-brand products. Through its biotechnology division, Bioteacher, it develops technology for precise, controlled cannabinoid administration in healthcare. Founded in 2018 by Borja Iribarne and backed by the Demium startup studio, the company has more than 110,000 customers in 13 European countries and projected about €1.2 million in net revenue for 2025. It raised €250,000 from business angels in 2020 and a €1 million round led by its existing shareholders in 2022, took €207,000 in financing backed by the guarantee company Elkargi SGR, and opened a new funding round in late 2025.
