Metacampus
Metacampus is a Barcelona-based edtech company that runs an online training platform for professionals working in the digital and Web3 economy. Its main product is a 100-day experiential programme that combines live expert sessions, virtual events and an AI-driven tech toolkit with role-play and gamified activities. The programme teaches Web3 business tools and terminology and helps students build professional networks. The platform is aimed at researchers, new-media journalists, brand managers and C-suite executives. It is funded by tuition, and the company offers grants to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Pere Pérez Ninou founded the company in Barcelona in 2021. In June 2022 it raised a €1.5M seed round led by LUMO Labs through LUMO Fund II, with participation from a group of international angel investors.
