PPangaea Oncology
Pangaea Oncology is a Barcelona-based precision oncology company. It combines molecular diagnostics, clinical research and preclinical modelling to deliver personalised, genetics-based cancer care. It runs two businesses. The first is clinical care through the Dr. Rosell Oncology Institute (IOR) and other units at Quirónsalud hospitals in Catalonia. The second is an ISO 15189-accredited diagnostics and R&D laboratory offering NGS and liquid biopsy testing to more than 15 multinational pharmaceutical clients, and it has acted as central laboratory for more than 15 liquid biopsy clinical trials. The company was founded in Barcelona in 2007 and is listed on BME Growth. In 2022 it raised €12 million through two capital increases, led by Eléctrica del Oeste, Irigen, Mirling Europe and Projecte Asfodel. In December 2025 shareholders approved a further capital increase of up to €4.7 million. In the first half of 2025 consolidated revenue grew 10.2% to about €7.2 million.
