Capboard is a Barcelona-based equity management platform for startups and SMEs. It covers cap table management, funding round simulation, convertible notes, secondary transactions, employee stock option plan (ESOP) administration and investor reporting, sold on a software-as-a-service model. Pol Gomà and Marc Jordana founded it in 2022 to serve companies in Europe and Latin America. It had more than 450 companies on the platform when it closed a €285,000 pre-seed round in 2022, led by Bewa7er Market (the parent company of Indexa Capital) alongside angel investors including the founders of Social Point, Holded, Trovit and Doctoralia. After growing 200% in 2023, it was fully acquired by Sekondary in a share-and-cash deal, with Alex Bisbe as CEO and a user base of more than 6,000 companies.
