Fudeat is a Madrid-based online marketplace for corporate catering. Companies use it to book catering, cocktail and event food, and to run virtual cafeteria programmes for staff. It connects businesses with a network of vetted caterers and restaurants through one point of contact, so they can compare offers and manage all their food spending in one place. Founded in 2017 by Javier Martín and Raúl Marín, the platform had more than 650 corporate clients and 350 catering and restaurant partners across Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga and Seville by 2022. Fudeat raised early capital from Palladium's corporate venture arm and business angels including Hugo Arévalo and Félix Ruiz, ran an equity crowdfunding round on Startupxplore, and in November 2022 closed an €800,000 round to expand internationally and add new business lines.
