VICIO
VICIO is a Barcelona-founded fast-casual smash-burger chain launched in late 2020 as a delivery-first startup by chef and MasterChef alumnus Aleix Puig and Oriol de Pablo. It scaled rapidly on viral social-media branding and tech-enabled operations to dozens of locations across Spain and Portugal, closing a €17M Series A in April 2023 (Iris Ventures, Barlon Capital, with backing tied to footballers Leo Messi and Antoine Griezmann) and later running an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube.
