GoTrendier
GoTrendier is an online marketplace where people buy and sell second-hand fashion, mainly clothing for women and children. It makes money from commissions on sales between users and is active in Mexico and Colombia, where it has a community of more than 9 million users and lists about 30,000 new items a day. A team of Spanish entrepreneurs founded it in Mexico City in 2015. In 2019 it merged with the Spanish second-hand fashion platform Chicfy, and the combined business reported about €22 million in revenue that year. It raised a $3.5 million round in 2019 led by Ataria, IGNIA and Banco Sabadell, and a €14 million round in 2022 with IDB Invest, Creas Impacto and IDC Ventures, alongside earlier backers including Antai Venture Builder, JME Ventures, Bonsai Partners and Pedralbes Partners.
