Hamelyn is a Madrid-based recommerce marketplace for second-hand cultural products — books, video games, music (CDs/vinyl) and films — offering instant buyback prices, free home pickup and payment within 24 hours, then reselling the items with new-retail service levels. Founded in 2020/2021 by Federico Aguilar Calvo and Valentín Izquierdo, it operates an automated, robotised logistics hub in Coslada (Madrid) shipping 45,000+ orders a month to 90+ countries, and sells in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy with a newly launched Mexican subsidiary. It has raised roughly €3.5M in total, most recently a €2M+ round led by Inclimo Climate Tech with Trind VC, positioning itself as a circular-economy play that plans to expand into furniture, tools, sports gear, fashion and electronics.
