Birdiefy.ai is a Madrid-based sports technology company that runs a mobile golf coaching app. Golfers use their phone's camera to film their swing and receive personalised lessons, feedback and improvement plans, delivered 100% in Spanish. The coaching combines artificial intelligence with professional instructors. The company was founded in 2021 by Gabriel Escudero Muñoz and Fredy M. Del Vecchio during a Demium programme in Madrid. While still in beta, the app had helped more than 100 golfers and worked with 15 professional golf instructors. In December 2022 it closed a €165,000 pre-seed round led by Demium Capital.
