Tu Lecho al Techo was a Madrid-based company that brought ceiling lift beds to the Spanish market. These are beds that rise to the ceiling when not in use to free up floor space. It worked as the exclusive distributor and installer in Spain of systems made by Espace Loggia (France), Liftbed (Germany), Bedaway (Sweden) and Voga (Slovenia). It sold to homeowners and to professional clients such as student residences, coliving operators, small-apartment and tourist-apartment owners. Founded in 2021 by Cristina Hernández Lería and Sébastien Chartier, it raised a €100,000 pre-seed round within days of launch from business angels including François Derbaix, Anxo Pérez, Aitor Sancho, Antonio Portero, Manuel Gandarias, Nacho Jiménez, Virginia Rodríguez and Lourdes Mesado. The company has since been dissolved.
