CCellDrive 3D
CellDrive 3D is a Boecillo-based biotechnology company developing advanced bioinks for 3D bioprinting in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. It was spun out of the BIOFORGE research group at the University of Valladolid. Its patented modular platform is built on genetically engineered protein polymers inspired by human elastin. The platform produces synthetic, animal-component-free bioinks that support cell adhesion and proliferation and stay stable after printing without crosslinkers or photoinitiators. The technology is patent-protected in Europe, the United States, China and Japan. Founded in December 2020, the company received early-stage investment from BeAble Capital through its BeAble INNVIERTE KETs Fund, with participation from SODICAL. In 2023 it was awarded a €325,000 CDTI Neotec grant.
