Fleksy

Fleksy is a Barcelona-based developer of mobile keyboard technology. It licenses a white-label keyboard SDK for Android and iOS that lets businesses build their own customisable, AI-enabled virtual keyboards, with clients in digital health, fintech, gaming, cybersecurity, government and OEMs across the US and Europe. The company started in 2015 as Thingthing, which built a productivity keyboard. In 2017 it acquired the Fleksy keyboard brand and assets, and it later moved from a consumer app to B2B licensing, with SDK revenue growing tenfold in about a year. Fleksy raised more than $800k through equity crowdfunding in 2018 and a $1.6M Series A in 2021 led by Inveready, with SOSV and Simile Venture Partners following on; it has also received an Innovate UK grant to develop mobile anti-fraud security features.
