Seedcamp is a London-based seed-stage venture capital firm, founded in 2007, that positions itself as a first-cheque investor in European tech founders and has a growing presence in the US. It backs pre-seed and seed companies across software, fintech, AI and deep tech, with first cheques of up to about $1.3M. In June 2026 it closed $320M across two vehicles: Seedcamp VII ($220M) for first cheques, and Seedcamp Select ($100M) for follow-on investments into growth-stage portfolio companies. The raise took its assets under management to about $1B. It has invested in more than 500 companies, including Revolut, Wise, UiPath, Synthesia and Fluidstack, and has returned over $300M to its LPs.
