Rosita

Rosita, also known as Rosita Longevity, is a Valencia-based digital health company whose app gives adults aged 60 to 80 exercise, physiotherapy, mental-health and educational programmes designed by doctors, with the aim of reducing frailty, fall risk and sarcopenia and extending healthy life expectancy. It uses a freemium consumer model, with a paid Prime subscription that unlocks more classes and therapies, and in early 2022 it reported about 2,000 active users in Spain and plans to launch in Florida. Juan Cartagena, Clara Fernández and David Gil founded the company in Cofrentes (Valencia) in 2020; they also founded a longevity school at the Cofrentes spa. It raised a €430,000 pre-seed round in October 2020 led by JME Ventures with Kfund, Seedcamp and Next Ventures, and a €2.4 million seed round in February 2022 led by Ship2B Ventures through its BSocial Impact Fund, joined by Wayra (Telefónica), Bankinter, Seedlink Health and existing investors.
