Clever Solar Devices is a Soria-based energy technology company that builds a Photovoltaics 4.0 platform for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar photovoltaic plants. It sells to independent power producers, asset managers, energy companies and agricultural operators. Its plug-and-play devices automatically measure the full IV curve of each solar module in real time. A remote AI-driven SaaS platform then diagnoses faults module by module and gives a health overview of single plants or whole fleets, with the aim of cutting O&M costs and raising energy output. Founded in 2019 by Bhishma Hernandez, the company closed a €230,000 seed round in November 2020 led by Adolfo Martínez, Soria Futuro and Sodical. It has since taken part in the BIND 4.0 accelerator and in Eria, the corporate venturing programme of the Estabanell group. Its recognitions include UNEF's Start Up Solar 2021 award and the Solar Impulse Foundation label, and it was a finalist in Ances Open Innovation 2025 on an Iberdrola challenge.
