Octopus Ventures is a London-based venture capital firm founded in 2007 and part of Octopus Group, and one of the largest and most active early-stage investors in Europe. It invests from pre-seed through Series A and into growth rounds, with sector teams covering B2B software, fintech, health, bio, deep tech, climate and consumer, including through its venture capital trusts and institutional funds. It has backed more than 380 companies, including ManyPets, Elvie, Permutive and Pelago, and its exits include Zoopla, SwiftKey (acquired by Microsoft) and WaveOptics (acquired by Snap).
