Cobee is a Madrid-founded fintech/HR-tech platform (2019) that unifies flexible compensation and employee benefits — meal vouchers, transport, childcare, health insurance, training and discounts — into a single app with a linked prepaid Visa card, expanding to Portugal and Mexico and serving 1,500+ corporate clients. It raised over €50M across pre-Series A, Series A and Series B rounds (Balderton Capital, Octopus Ventures, Speedinvest and others) before being acquired 100% by Pluxee (formerly Sodexo Benefits) in a deal completed in September 2024, making it now a Pluxee-owned company rather than an independent VC-backed startup.
