Faber is a Lisbon-based early-stage venture capital firm, founded in 2012, that invests in deep-tech teams building on frontier technology. It leads or co-leads Pre-seed and Seed rounds with first tickets of up to €2.5M and follows on through Series A. Its focus is AI and AI governance, robotics, computational biology and chemistry, data infrastructure, next-generation computing, and climate and ocean tech, mainly in the Iberian Peninsula and Southern Europe, with selective investments elsewhere in Europe. Its funds are Faber Tech II (€31M), Faber Blue Pioneers (€30M) and the 2025-vintage Faber Tech III, which is anchored by the European Investment Fund and backed by the NATO Innovation Fund and Caixa Capital; its portfolio includes Sword Health, Unbabel, Codacy, Zymvol, YPlasma and Biographica.
