edgeContinuum is a Vigo-based developer of a European sovereign private cloud platform. Its software turns the data centres and edge sites that organisations already own into a self-service cloud. Through one console, an API and Terraform, it provides managed Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, virtual machines and an application marketplace, running either as SaaS or fully on-premises. It sells to enterprises that want internal IT self-service, and to managed service providers and telecom operators that resell managed services. The company is a University of Vigo spin-off founded in 2024 from research there on cloud and edge computing. It is co-funded by the Xunta de Galicia's Ignicia programme, won the Wayra Incubation Program and the Santander X Award 2025, and was selected among the Top 100 start-ups at Valencia Digital Summit 2026.
