Nutual is a Spanish proptech that uses technology and big-data/location analytics to unlock housing liquidity: its core "Vivienda Inversa" product buys homes from owners aged 65+ and rents them back below market rate with a rent allowance refundable to the seller or their heirs, alongside flexible room rentals and standard long-term rentals. Founded in 2021 and incubated by Antai Venture Builder, it operates across Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, Valencia, Málaga and San Sebastián, and raised a ~€750K seed round in 2023 backed by ICF, CDTI Neotec and private investors; it has also partnered with Almagro Capital and Lift AM. Co-founder/CEO Javier Chivite has since moved on to lead SmartRental Group.
