Wemon

Wemon is a Madrid-based consumer social app (legal entity WEMONAPP S.L.) built around real-life meetups rather than passive content consumption: users post an unfiltered photo without seeing the result beforehand, which becomes a geolocated 'plan' others can join, plus a radar to find people nearby. Beyond the social network, the company monetises via a geolocation-based advertising system connecting its young user base with hospitality venues (bars, restaurants, nightlife). The app is on iOS and Android and the company is an early-stage Bcombinator portfolio company with no publicly announced funding round.
