Circe Scientific (also operating as Circe Health Science) is a Palma de Mallorca-based biotech founded in 2012 that uses proprietary cocrystallization (crystal engineering) technology, protected by 50+ patents, to enhance the bioavailability, stability and solubility of active ingredients for nutraceuticals, cosmetics, functional foods and animal health. It pivoted from a pharma R&D services model into its own longevity/healthy-ageing ingredient pipeline (Pterovita, Pteroyouth, CareSterol, Ubiquinol, PteroVet) starting in 2017, and has raised early-stage VC funding including a 2023 €1.7M round to expand into the US market.
