YowUp! is the pet-food brand of Spanish company Dairypet, S.L., founded in Poio (Pontevedra, Galicia) in May 2021, which makes functional dairy snacks for dogs and cats — yogurts, kefirs, frozen yogurts, bone broths and lactose-free functional milk, all sugar-, fat- and lactose-free and produced in Spain. It claims to be the first natural yogurt for dogs and cats in Europe, sells in Spain plus European and American markets (around 2.5 million units sold in a recent year), and signed a joint venture with US distributor Ethical Products, Inc. to enter the United States. It is an early-stage (pre-seed) consumer/petfood business backed by Capsa Vida and the Galician BFFood accelerator.
