Graphenea
Graphenea is a graphene manufacturer and dedicated graphene foundry that produces CVD graphene films, graphene oxide, graphene field-effect transistor (GFET) chips and offers GFAB foundry services for graphene-based chip design and production. Founded in 2010 in San Sebastián as a joint venture between private investors and the nanoscience research centre CIC nanoGUNE, it now serves customers in more than 60 countries with a team of roughly 30-40 people and a second site in the Boston/Cambridge, MA area. It is a partner in the EU Graphene Flagship, took a €1M investment from Repsol and CDTI's INNVIERTE programme in 2013, and its CEO was named by Forbes among Spain's 100 most creative business people in 2017.
