FutureVoltaics
FutureVoltaics is a Madrid-based CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) spin-off that has developed VectHor, a patented vertical bifacial solar PV system paired with specially engineered reflectors to boost energy output during low sun-angle periods (mornings, afternoons, winter, cloudy weather). The pre-assembled rooftop system is reported to increase energy yield by roughly 30-50% versus conventional 20° bifacial installations and has been piloted with partners such as PRIO in Portugal.
