Vehortu

Vehortu (legal name Verduras y Hortalizas de Tudela S.L.) was a Spanish premium vegetable producer based in Ribaforada, Ribera de Navarra, specialising in IV/V gama (ready-to-eat, minimally processed) vegetables — notably artichoke, of which it was a pioneer in processed form, plus Piquillo and Palermo peppers, white asparagus, borage, broccoli, cauliflower, leek and onion. It was created from the combination of a well-known chef and an established Tudela-area vegetable and pulse trading group, and won First Prize for Product Versatility for its artichokes at Salón de Gourmets 2018. It is no longer operating, having announced the cessation of its activities, and it had no venture capital backing. Sebastiana Ruíz was its manager (gerente).
