ZZoomAgri
ZoomAgri is a Madrid-headquartered agtech company that uses computer vision and machine learning to digitise the testing, inspection and certification of agricultural commodities. Its scanner-plus-software system identifies grain varieties and analyses the physical quality of barley, wheat, soy and corn, and its varietal identification technology is approved by bodies such as INASE in Argentina and MEBAK in Germany. Customers include Cargill, ADM, Louis Dreyfus Company, AB InBev and GrainCorp, and the system is used in around 25 countries, with offices in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Londrina and Perth. The company was founded in Buenos Aires in 2017 by grain traders Fernando Martínez de Hoz and Jaap Rommelaar with engineer Matías Micheloud. It raised a $3.3M seed round in 2021 from SP Ventures, Artesian, GrainInnovate and Glocal, followed in 2023 by a $6M Series A co-led by GrainCorp and GrainInnovate, with SP Ventures also taking part.
