Beam is a Barcelona-based SaaS platform for retail, restaurant and hotel chains that unifies staff scheduling, time & attendance, task/operations management, internal communication and microlearning to help store teams run daily operations. Founded in 2017, it is a small seed-stage team (~5 people) that went through the EGI Booster accelerator; customers are mostly Spanish retail chains (Casa del Libro, Natura, Multiopticas, etc.). It competes with much better-funded workforce-management players like Deputy, Legion, Quinyx, WorkJam and Yoobic.
