Orquest
Orquest is a Madrid-based company that makes AI-powered workforce planning and scheduling software for retail and quick-service restaurant chains. Its SaaS platform uses algorithms, advanced analytics and AI to forecast demand and plan staff schedules, tasks and hiring. It also includes employee apps and business-intelligence tools. It was founded in 2016 and was rolled out across all McDonald's Spain restaurants by 2017. Its customers include Zara, H&M, Kiabi, Dior, Burger King, KFC, Norauto, Arcos Dorados and Azadea, across Spain, Latin America and the Middle East. In November 2022 it closed its first round, a €1.5M seed, led by Angels (Juan Roig's investment company) with Arjen Heeres and AABAN.
