Room00
Room00 is a Madrid-based urban lifestyle hospitality platform that runs hostels, boutique hotels and lifestyle hotels for urban travellers under four brands: Room00 Hostels, Toc Hostels, Room Select and LETOH. It operates properties through leases and hotel management agreements, and since 2025 it can also buy properties outright. It combines design, local knowledge and technology across a portfolio of more than 2,500 rooms and around 50–60 assets in operation or development in Spain, Portugal and Italy. Ignacio Requena founded the company in Madrid in 2012 as Room007, and it rebranded as Room00 in 2024. Its funding includes a €2M seed round led by Global Realty Capital and Rocket Internet in 2021, a €7.4M Series A led by CIOLIO Inversiones in 2023, several financing agreements with Fondo Santander Smart, and a strategic equity investment of up to €400M from King Street Capital Management in 2025.
