HHarBest Market
HarBest Market is a Madrid-based B2B marketplace that connected restaurants directly with farmers and producers across Spain, cutting out intermediaries in the hospitality supply chain. It started with fruit and vegetables, guaranteeing delivery within 24 hours of harvest, and in 2022 added meat, eggs, rice and oils; restaurants bought through one ordering platform with a single delivery, while farmers set their own prices. The company was founded in 2020 by Álvaro Pérez Redondo, Mario Rey Méndez and Santiago Azurmendi Pedreira. It served clients such as Honest Greens, Larrumba and Lamucca, and grew to about 2,000 B2B clients and roughly €7 million in revenue. It raised about €3 million in private capital, including a €250,000 round on the Dozen platform in 2021 and a €1 million seed round led by Dozen Investments with business angels in 2022, and later ceased operations.
