IINDYA
INDYA is a Valencia-based sports nutrition technology company. Its platform builds personalised meal plans that adjust as the user trains and changes preferences. It sells a subscription app for amateur and professional athletes and nutrition software for nutritionists, dietitians and trainers, and the app connects to Strava, TrainingPeaks and Apple Health. The business started in 2013 in three Valencia gyms and was incorporated in 2014 as Instituto de Nutrición Deportiva. It has planned nutrition for more than 40,000 people, had about 3,500 monthly subscribers by the end of 2023, and has worked with elite athletes including Carlos Sainz Jr. and Marc Márquez. After a first €200,000 round from business angels, INDYA closed a round of more than €1 million in October 2022. Draper B1 led that round, with Wayra, Fundación Innovación Bankinter and athletes Pau Gasol, Iker Casillas, Rudy Fernández and Álex Rins also taking part.
