BHV Partners

BHV Partners is a Barcelona-based venture builder specialising in healthcare. It creates start-ups that turn research from universities, hospitals and research centres into products across therapeutics, medical devices, digital health, in-vitro diagnostics and nutrition, and it also advises technology-transfer offices, start-ups and the biomedical industry. It was founded in 2019 by Marta Príncep, Albert G. Zamora, Joan Bigorra and Joaquim Trias, and has built companies including Adan Medical, Aimentia, Biel Glasses, MATCH Biosystems and Conus Airway, with teams in Barcelona, San Sebastián and San Francisco. It is backed by a base of private investors and an ENISA participation loan, has raised about €1.2 million, and later opened a €2.5 million seed round aimed at family offices and corporate venture funds.
