MmediQuo
mediQuo is a Barcelona-based digital health company that runs a telemedicine platform. Doctors and specialists use it to see patients by chat, voice call and video call, 24 hours a day. It sells white-label, omnichannel telemedicine software (mediQuo PRO) to insurers, hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies and employers. The platform covers e-prescription, structured medical records, test orders and automatic reports. Clients and partners include ASISA, CatSalut provider CAPSBE, GSK, Novo Nordisk, AIG and Algar Telecom. It operates in Spain and Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador and Argentina, and reported 1.2 million registered users and 1.5 million consultations a year in 2023. The company was founded in 2017 by physician and investor Guillem Serra with Albert Castells and José López, the founders of iSalud.com. It has raised several rounds: €1.5 million led by Target Global in 2018, €2 million in 2020, a round led by Mexican pharmaceutical group Silanes in 2021, a strategic investment from Brazil's Algar Telecom, and €1.35 million in 2023 led by Grupo Silanes with Encomenda, Trampoline Venture Partners, Capital Cell and Tokavi.
