Quota Rent
Quota Rent is a Madrid-based proptech company that digitises the residential rental process for landlords, tenants, property managers and real estate agents. Its SaaS platform scores each tenant's financial and employment profile, screens against payment-default and delinquency records, and issues an objective report for the landlord. It also offers rental guarantees that cover damage and non-payment for up to three months, which reduce the cash deposits tenants have to pay and connect the rental process with insurance distribution, working with partners such as DAS Seguros and Equifax. The company was founded in 2021 by Giovanni Buono and Jesús Ramos Escudero. It had more than 1,000 properties under management in its first year and went through the Demium, Lanzadera and AticcoLab accelerator programmes. It raised a €100,000 seed round backed by Demium and Think Bigger Capital.
