CCusp Capital
Cusp Capital is an Essen-based early-stage venture capital firm that invests in European technology companies at the point of scientific, technological or societal breakthrough. It typically leads Seed and Series A rounds with initial tickets of up to €10M, can deploy up to €35M per company across stages, and focuses on sustainability, climate tech, fintech and financial inclusion, AI and software, healthtech and industrial technology. The firm launched in 2021 with a €300M fund backed by the European Investment Fund, KfW Capital, RAG-Stiftung, NRW.BANK, family offices and entrepreneurs, and also manages a fund of funds that backs regional and sector-specialist early-stage European funds. Its founding partners previously invested for the Tengelmann Group and the Haub family office in companies including Klarna, Zalando and Delivery Hero; the current portfolio includes Payflow, CertHub, akeno, Recyda, CarbonCloud, Mainteny and Fixably.
