Oleofat
Oleofat is a Spanish industrial group that valorizes oilseed by-products and waste oils into raw materials for advanced biofuels (biodiesel, HVO, biojet) and oleochemicals (squalane, sterols, tocopherols, glycerin, fatty acids). Founded in 2015, it is headquartered in Vitoria-Gasteiz with production plants in Tudela and Caparroso (Navarra), turns over roughly €40M with ~85 staff, and is the pioneer supplier of a novel feedstock used by Repsol/Petronor for Spain's first sustainable aviation fuel; its Naturmet spin-off is rolling out ~20 biomethane plants. It is a Navarra/Basque private-equity-backed industrial company rather than a VC-backed startup.
