Geek.live (formerly GeekSquare/GameSquare) is a Barcelona-based live shopping marketplace where collectors buy and sell in real time through livestreamed one-minute auctions, covering Funko figures, Pokémon and TCG cards, sports cards, video games, sneakers and vintage fashion. Founded in 2018, it launched its first app as GameSquare in 2021 and pivoted in 2023 from video games to a broader live-commerce model, operating mainly in Spain via its iOS and Android apps. It is a very early-stage, small team (roughly 2-10 people) that has raised only a small amount of capital, including a ~€100k round oversubscribed in under 24 hours on the Startupxplore crowdfunding platform.
