D-Sight

D-Sight is a clinical-stage biotech spin-off of the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) developing first-in-class neuroprotective eye drops to halt vision loss in retinal neurodegenerative diseases, starting with early-stage diabetic retinopathy and expanding into glaucoma. Founded in 2023, it has raised roughly €5M in combined private and public funding (including a €1M round and a later €2M round led by Clave Capital, plus €1.5M from Spain's Public-Private Collaboration programme) and launched its first-in-human clinical trial, targeting a Series A to fund Phase II. It is headquartered in Barcelona and is a very small team (2-10 employees).
