FFibtray
Fibtray (legally Fibtray Solutions, S.L., also branded Fibtray® Ultratech Solutions) is a Valencian deeptech spin-off of the AINIA technology centre that makes heat-sealable food trays from recyclable natural cellulose fibre, replacing multilayer plastic trays in modified-atmosphere packaging (MAP) for meat, fish, ready meals and fresh produce. Its internationally patented laminated-cardboard technology cuts plastic use by up to 90-96% versus conventional trays and drops into existing packaging lines without changing productivity. Launched in February 2024 by AINIA and REDIT Ventures, it began commercial pilots with customers in Spain and France in 2024 and closed a €250,000 round with REDIT Ventures and its investment club in March 2026 to fund industrial and international scale-up. It is headquartered in Paterna (Valencia).
