LLovelybikes
Lovelybikes is a Gijón-based bicycle maker and online retailer. It runs Biciclasica.com, an e-commerce store for classic-style urban and city bicycles and accessories, and Capri Bikes, its own brand of Italian-inspired classic and electric bicycles. It sells direct to consumers over the internet with no intermediaries, relies mainly on European suppliers, and ships to customers in more than 80 countries. Germany, France and Spain are its largest markets. Founded in 2010 by Andrés Maldonado and Nina de Mier, the company has raised public regional funding from Asturias' Sociedad Regional de Promoción: a €200,000 participatory loan in 2021 to develop its electric bike line, followed by a €250,000 round led by SRP later that year.
