EIT Urban Mobility is a Barcelona-based innovation community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, set up in 2018 to speed up the shift to sustainable urban mobility. Through its Impact Ventures unit it invests in European start-ups from pre-seed to Series A, putting in up to €2.5M per company for a 5–10% stake through a mix of grant and equity, always alongside accredited co-investors. It has been ranked Europe's most active investor in mobility start-ups, has more than 140 companies in its portfolio, and has backed Elonroad, Bia and Luvly.
