FFI Group
FI Group is an international consultancy specialising in R&D and innovation funding, managing R&D tax incentives, grants and public financing for companies from start-ups to large corporations. Founded in 2000 by Xavier Cazabon and Frédéric Bouté and headquartered in Santa Coloma de Cervelló (Barcelona), it has more than 30 offices across Europe, the Americas and Asia, and was acquired outright by the French consultancy EPSA in April 2025. Its start-up activity runs through FI Ready (public-funding management for start-ups), the FI Boost programme and FI Nvest, a corporate investment vehicle launched in 2021 with up to €300K a year for seed-stage Spanish technology start-ups, writing tickets of €50–100K. FI Nvest's portfolio includes the CSIC nanomaterials spin-off Nanostine.
