Cubro is a Madrid-founded direct-to-consumer furniture brand that designs and manufactures made-to-measure fronts, handles, and finishes to customize modular IKEA kitchen, wardrobe, and bathroom systems, sold through an online configurator and produced in its own workshops. Founded in 2019 by Jaime Pont and Jorge Álvarez-Cienfuegos, it grew to roughly €6M revenue in 2024 with 1,300+ projects delivered, over half outside Spain. In July 2025 French kitchen group Schmidt Groupe acquired a majority stake, so Cubro now operates as a Schmidt Groupe brand rather than an independent VC-backed startup.
