AntalGenics is a biotechnology spin-off of the Miguel Hernández University (Elche, Spain), founded in 2015, that discovers and develops novel bioactive molecules acting on the sensory neurobiology system (ion channels and neuroreceptors) for biomedical and dermocosmetic applications. It is developing a TRPV1-targeting neurodrug against chronic itch in psoriasis and licenses cosmeceutical active ingredients such as Calmapsin and Capsisilence. Funding has come mainly from small seed/angel rounds via equity crowdfunding and Spanish public/private investors.
