PPredictheon
Predictheon (Predictheon Medical SL) is a Barcelona-based medtech/AI company that builds predictive monitoring software for anaesthesia and critical care, combining pharmacological mathematical models with machine learning to forecast clinically relevant adverse events (e.g. hypotension, sedation depth) 3-5 minutes before they occur so anaesthesiologists can intervene early. It is a seed-stage spin-off from Hospital Clínic de Barcelona/IDIBAPS, Universidad de Navarra and Universidad de San Buenaventura de Cali, founded around 2019 and employing roughly 2-10 people, with a second address in San Francisco. It won the UN/ITU 'AI for Good Innovation Factory Catalonia' award, was a Health-category finalist at South Summit Madrid 2026, and closed a €1.8M round in 2026 (after an earlier €840k round led by Clave in 2021) targeting market launch around 2028.
